HOW IT WORKS one bullet, one transaction, one verifiable tape

One bullet. Not a cooldown — an occupancy lock. The next shot only arms when the current one resolves, so the cost of a shot is its flight distance. Missing the back row is the worst thing you can do.
Every interaction settles. The shot, the hit, the saucer, the wave, the death — each is its own transaction, with its own sequence number, on the tape. Alien fire is not: that is the chain acting on you, not you acting on the chain.
A confirmed block lifts the bottom rank. Those aliens are not kills: they pay zero points and broadcast zero transactions, because the mempool drained itself and you did not shoot. That is also why no single event in this game can ever spike the relay.
The tape is the run. The closing SEAL carries a digest of every payload in order. Anyone can walk the chain, recompute it, and get VERIFIED or not. It does not make cheating impossible — it makes a faked score cost exactly what a real one costs.
